Maria first went to Marrakech representing the Storytelling of the North Kerry area as she was Storyteller in Residence for Kerry Writers Museum - the home of Eamon Kelly the most famous of all Irish Storytellers! She has been back many times since carrying a treasure trove of Cork based stories from her native Cork City. She has delivered trainings in the schools, universities, museums and streets of Marrakech and plans many more visits as the story bonds between Ireland & Marrakech grow ever stronger!
