Story Circles
Long before anyone kept records, people sat in circles and told what mattered. A Story Circle is that same old thing, a kaleidoscope of human experience, not a performance and not a therapy session, though people often leave healed all the same. Corporate groups carrying burnout, empty nesters, the newly retired, and plenty of others besides have found a renewed sense of belonging here. Maria runs weekend Story Circle groups and classes across Cork and Kerry.
On the Story Road: Cork & Kerry
For visitors who want more than the standard tour. A walking tour, a story itinerary, or a day driving the old roads of Cork and Kerry, from Gougane Barra to Cobh and beyond, following the wells of history in the stones and the diaspora stories carried out of this county for two hundred years. Groups usually run four to five people, told by someone who was born into these stories, not one who learned them for the job.
